Some of us might not know you personally, Independent, so your like/don’t-like way of sizing things up lacks the necessary authority to simply accept or reject your opinion on face value. Would love to hear more of the ideas that drive or explain your arguments, though I admit that simply registering a raw feeling is tempting.
The brief video clip seems to reveal a Prager that has “style” enough to rival Obama’s logical suave, for good or for ill. Prager is willing to step forward with both wholesome values and a willingness to challenge the un-inspected liberalism in the everyday TV watcher’s spoon-fed psyche. To be sure, this mass media groupthink has been normalized into invisibility and largely purged from self-awareness, so rarely reveals supporting ideas in favor of blurting out preferences. We need to be practical about getting someone elected (especially in what often seems to be a fallen or “all you can eat buffet” level of democracy). But when the dust of political rhetoric settles, it’s really about preserving a positive vision of our deepest heritage, Christianity being the truest and most galvanizing, in both a cultural and military sense.
In this video clip, Dennis Prager is equable and charismatic, so he might prove an effective presidental contender for those conservatives who long for a resurgence of Judeo-Christian ideals, beyond purely fiscal concerns. Equality is a European value, not an American one, says Prager, though “We start off equal at birth.” He speaks his mind about the hateful, bloodthirsty French Revolution that forms the basis of contemporary European morality.
Even so, Prager underestimates the potential military prowess of the Scandanavian people, as if he had never read a word of the Nobel prize winner Knut Hamsun. After all, the Vikings and Teutons were almost unparalleled in history for their bravery, not unlike army commanders like Joshua in the Old Testament.
Constantly very helpful… regardless of how often look at this!
Thanks for the great comments. I don’t comment a lot, but just thought I would say hello and that I like the site.

Nice post, I haven’t come across your ’til this evening and I am sure I will be back.
Prager doesn’t have a chance in the world to receive the nomination. It’s just wishful thinking on your part. Sorry.
Did someone say that Dennis Prager was running for president? I must have missed that.
