Today, we should be even more alarmed.

America, we have a problem!

Our President recently made a statement that sounded like a veiled threat to many:

“If people can’t trust not only the executive branch but also don’t trust Congress and don’t trust federal judges to make sure that we’re abiding by the Constitution with due process and rule of law, then we’re going to have some problems here.”

Yes, Mr. President, we do indeed have some problems. Rasmussen just published a poll showing the distrust Americans have for every level of government. Here are some of their findings:

Only 24% of Americans believe the government does the right thing most of the time.
7% believe the government will enforce any law that will reduce illegal immigration
with regard to surveillance by the government, about 30% trust them

This week a reporter for CBS revealed her personal and business computer has been hacked. While she didn’t say yet that the government was responsible, it was clear that is the case. coincidentally, she was working on several stories that would not have been helpful to the current administration.

It’s easy to just think it will only happen to the “other guy”. Guess again! The truth is, that you may just BE the “other guy”. You might ask yourself this question, ” If someone had told me a few years ago that the IRS was targeting conservatives and the NSA was collecting all my emails and phone conversations, would I have considered them a conspiracy nutcake?”

What we have seen and heard is only the tip of the iceberg.

America, we have a problem.
