The Republican Party platform is a reflection of grassroots policy positions.

At least that is the way the South Dakota Republicans have historically constructed  their platform.  Now, some people think it needs to be “modernized”.  Sam Kephart argues that it’s time for a “do-over”.. Gordon Howie isn’t convinced that’s a great idea.
