America was built on Judeo-Christian values.
Unfortunately, American voters have chosen to “look the other way” when casting their ballots.
About half of all believers don’t even bother to cast a ballot. They aren’t registered to vote, or just don’t go to the polls.
Many Christians who do choose to get involved, make their choice based on something other than Biblical principles. Some even travel across the country to conservative meetings where Christian speakers deliver wonderful messages. Then they come home and begin to “manage and engineer” outcomes, rather than voting the principles they claim to hold dear. They become obsessed with “winning”. Now, winning is not a bad thing, on it’s own merit. The problem is that believers seem to forget who is God.
God asks us to be obedient. He asks us to trust Him for the outcome. That is a difficult proposition for believers who are used to “being in charge.”
One of the positions that has always puzzled me is, “We have to vote for someone who doesn’t champion our values, because we may LOOSE if we support the candidate who will stand with us on principle regardless of personal consequence.” That kind of thinking is fear based, and gives us failure. Failure like John McCain and Mitt Romney. It’s the kind of thinking that gave us eight years of Barack Obama.
Christians have the power to elect whomever they choose. They could be the most powerful voting block in America. Their commitment to support ONLY candidates who champion their values would result in landslide victories and turn America back in the right direction. But first, they have to be willing to trust God, that if they will do the right thing, He will produce the right result.
Will you be part of the compromise that has paralyzed Christians in politics, or will you work to support candidates who have laid their lives on the line to represent the truth?
Are you ready to obey God and vote your values?

So true Mr. Howie. You hit the nail on the head. It will be interesting to see if South Dakota is ready to elect candidates that don’t have the baggage of the EB-5 scandal. Also it is the right thing to do to elect Candidates that did not sell out to Common Core and Obama Care. We need to break the strangle hold of money, power and cronyism that has given our state such a bad reputation. The power lies with the voters. Please vote you conscience in this very important election. Thanks
