The separation of chruch and state is what has enabled our great nation to prosper for over 200 years. Keeping religious beliefs out of politics is paramount to ensuring our freedoms continue as the Founders intended.
The Restoration Rally is not about the seperation of church and state. It’s about SD citizens praying for the legislators as they begin this legislative session. You don’t keep your beliefs, religious or otherwise, out of politics and neither will I. It is our duty to advance the causes in which we believe. Relax Inde, we are there to pray.
I will pray that our politicians do not let their personal religious beliefs interfere with their governing, as our Founder’s obviously intended. I guess you could say I’m going to counter your prayers, with prayers of my own.
Prayer is good. Careful though, some independent might think you a fundamentalist.
When’s the last time you had a prayer answered?
Already this morning!!!
So you prayed the sun would come up? Very original.
