It’s easy!
BUT… it’s not very smart.
Still, America seems fascinated with becoming God. It’s what we have done by shutting God out of the public schools, removing nativity scenes and making debauchery the law of the land.
Republican politicians do it regularly. They justify NOT doing the right thing by suggesting their objectives are noble. Voting to fund Planned Parenthood is NOT a righteous vote. The excuse for the vote to continue funding an evil organization is that Republicans want to avoid a government shutdown. They are fearful that the “Right” vote would have caused a stalemate for which they would get the blame, thereby causing voters to elect a Democrat as President in 2016.
What would be wrong with doing the RIGHT thing in the first place, and letting God be God. He is certainly big enough to engineer the results that please Him. He also promises to bless us when we do the right thing. When we reject the right choice because we are fearful of a negative outcome, we are really the servants of fear rather than God. Throughout Scripture God has given us the command , “Do not fear”. He has told us clearly, that He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind.
Even when we become our own god, God will still be God.
We just become fools.
