The National Review has been in the spotlight in recent days.
No less than 22 Nationally known conservative leaders joined forces to make the case against Donald Trump. This conservative publication was started by William F. Buckley.
Trump responded in typical “trump” style by attacking the National Review, repeatedly calling it a “dying paper”. Actually, it has been a published magazine for more than 60 years, and doesn’t appear to be going anywhere. Trump continued his attack by saying that Buckley would have been “ashamed” of the National Review’s critique. Hardly. Buckley wrote about Trump in 2000, calling him a “demagogue” and a “narcissist”. Buckley, one of America’s foremost conservatives, was certainly not a Trump fan.
But perhaps one of the best arguments regarding the Trump candidacy was published in 2011, which makes the case that Trump has disqualified himself from holding the office of President. Dennis Prager wrote one of the most convincing pieces about Trump regarding his public use of vulgarity. It is similar to an article posted on this site last year entitled Is Donald Trump Too Vulgar To Be President.
In his article, Prager reminds readers of a few public statements made by Trump.
On gas prices: “We have nobody in Washington that sits back and says, ‘You’re not going to raise that f***ing price.’”
On what he would say as president to China: “Listen, you mother f***ers, we’re going to tax you 25 percent.”
On Iraq: “We build a school, we build a road, they blow up the school, we build another school, we build another road, they blow them up, we build again. In the meantime we can’t get a f***ing school in Brooklyn.”
If being a role model for children is important, if being a representative of a moral nation is important, if civility on any level is important…
Donald Trump is not qualified to be President.

Trump is mesmerizing some of the far right with rhetoric they are dying to hear. This is very similar to what Obama did to the far left. They become zombies. They need to see, on a regular basis, the past interviews and Tweets made by Trump and his sister, Maryanne.
