Ted Nugent on Trump’s Success
“The enemy of my enemy is my friend” is an idea as old as warfare, but activist Ted Nugent thinks it’s a much better guide to presidential candidate selection than the traditional method of “informing yourself with the issues” by listening to news and commentary either on television or in print.
Nugent thinks there’s little diversity of opinion available to voters, no counterbalancing “other side” to base a decision on. The system is rigged and unreliable.
Why? Liberals and conservatives are all left of center, upholders of the status quo establishment, driven by slightly different versions of political correctness. Ideas from the right of center are allowed only if vilified.
Because Donald Trump has come out on top of a crowded GOP field, Nugent sees a grassroots resurgence of “voting according to your convictions” as a wholesome sign, a miracle for a faltering democracy. The formula goes like this: don’t allow your choices to be framed by the one-sided media.
Instead, remember who the bad guys are, then notice who these enemies are against. A recent Nugent Facebook post makes the friend quite clear:
Obama is against Trump
The Media is against Trump
The establishment Democrats are against Trump
The establishment Republicans are against Trump
The Pope is against Trump
The UN is against Trump
The EU is against Trump
China is against Trump
Mexico is against Trump
Soros is against Trump
Black Lives Matter is against Trump
MoveOn.Org is against Trump
Koch Bro’s are against Trump
Hateful, racist, violent Liberals are against Trump
