America is being bruised by the killing of blacks and police.

Racism is destructive regardless of whether it results in the killing of an innocent man of color or a law enforcement officer.  Black vs White or Black vs Blue… it’s VERY bad.

I’ve seen up close and personal, the gross misbehavior of law enforcement officers.  That doesn’t make all of them bad.  It does, in my opinion, reflect a culture of “elitism” in some law enforcement circles which should not be tolerated.  It demeans the credibility of honorable law enforcement officers who are genuinely trying to protect and serve.

Thugs, thieves and other criminals come in all sizes, shapes and colors.  Some wear street clothes, some wear suits and ties and some wear uniforms.  They should be dealt with swiftly.

Spewing hate-speak and threats only serves to pour fuel on the fire.  We can’t end racism with more racism.  More hatred won’t end hatred.  We should not be promoting “Black Lives Matter” or “Blue Lives Matter”.  All lives matter.  Innocent lives matter.  LOVE matters.

Our nation would be well served if we remember we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood, “but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

Black leaders, White leaders and Blue leaders need to come together in a demonstration of unity and PRAY.  They should demand speedy justice and encourage peace, love and unity from all sides.

This is a time to come together and fight evil, not each other.
