PLLLeeease!!

“Gun Safety” is the new politically correct term for “We want to take your guns away”.

The President and other Leftists are seizing the moment, with all the violence in America, to move aggressively forward with restrictions on the 2nd Amendment right to own and bear firearms.  In his press conference today, the President took credit for the “lowest crime rate” in years.  Even after making the case that during his administration the crime rate is lower, he insisted that we must place further restrictions on gun ownership.

Maybe the easy solution would be to just give him 8 more years in office.  Crime would continue to diminish and our economy would continue its robust recovery.  Right!  (sarcasm, in case you missed it)

Republicans in the US House and Senate have the ability to absolutely hold the line on “Gun Safety” (Gun Control) legislation.  We can only hope they decide to behave like Republicans, for a change.

Some of us still believe that gun safety is owning firearms, using them properly and retaining the ability to protect ourselves and our families (from thugs, criminals and a tyrannical government).

I’m all for gun safety, but don’t try to take my guns!
