America doesn’t pay ransom for hostages, right?

Wrong!

Either that, or you are willing to believe in a very long shot coincidence.

At the time the four American hostages were released earlier this year, the Obama administration secretly airlifted $400 Million dollars in cash to Iran.  Strictly coincidence.

ANY transaction with Iran in US dollars is illegal.  No problem.  The payment was made with a variety of foreign currencies, all cash stacked on wooden pallets in an unmarked cargo plane.

Senior Iranian defense officials have claimed the $400 Million was a ransom payment.  US officials insist it was not connected in any way.  We are to believe that it was simply a secret payment on a totally unrelated deal that just happened to be consummated at the same time the hostages were released.  The piles of cash reportedly arrived the same day the hostages were released.

You have two choices here.  You can believe this transaction was just happenstance or you can believe that the Obama administration put a price tag on American lives.  How stupid do these people (the Obama administration) think we are?

Pretty stupid.
