Let’s hope not.

There are plenty of elements to the problem of police shooting citizens.

• Overly aggressive police action

• Selective reporting of black victimization by media

• Disproportionate crime in minority populations

• Killing of police officers

• Killing of citizens by police officers

• Racism

• Reverse racism

• Criminal looting and property damage

There are also some elements of effective SOLUTIONS to this growing problem.

• Zero tolerance for looting and other criminal behavior

• Zero tolerance for police bullying and aggression

• Accurate reporting of statistics related to police shooting

Racial tension is increasing as the violence continues.  Racially motivated agitators (of all races) use the incidence of violence for self promotion and personal gain.  Criminals and thugs use the opportunity to kill, steal and destroy.  Sensationalizing gets higher media ratings.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would have some wisdom for the social unrest in America today.  This is what he said years ago:

America needs leaders who will restore sanity and civility.
