“It isn’t illegal in my country”

That was reportedly what this refugee said when he was caught attempting to sexually assault a special needs woman in Aberdeen.  Liban Mohamad had only been in the United States for about a week prior to his attack on this 31 year old disabled woman.

Details of the attack and trial were reported by WND.

The case hasn’t gotten much (any) press in South Dakota.  Strange.  Also largely unreported is that nearly 1,000 (939) refugees have been placed in South Dakota since  2002.  This does not take into account those who migrate to South Dakota from Minnesota or other places.

What also hasn’t received much press is that South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard worked with Lutheran Social Services to place refugees, despite objections from SD residents.  Neither was media attention was given to the $23,000.00 in campaign contributions from LSS employees/Board members to Daugaard.

Is all of this non-reporting coincidence or by design?  The practice of “non-reporting” is a cousin to “fake news”.  It is journalistic malpractice designed to protect and promote a narrative that fits a leftist agenda.  It is part of the process used by the media to “create” the news.

If you want to know the real story about refugees in South Dakota, don’t look in your newspaper.  Ask someone who lives in Huron or Aberdeen.

The problems simply go unreported.
