Ready or not…
… Here they come!
At this point in time, you have a choice. To Chip, or not to Chip… that is the question. Charisma News published a year-end article on the subject. It’s a thought provoking read.
In some places, micro chipping is the ‘trendy’ thing to do. Some employers have required their employees to be micro chipped. It has become common to chip your pets, and some parents think chipping their children will help protect them should they be abducted. The convenience of scanning your personal body chip at the airport or the grocery store is another reason some are being convinced this is the newest, ‘best’ thing in technology.
It’s easy, relatively painless and inexpensive. The cost is around $200.00, including installation. If you think micro chipping isn’t catching on, you will be interested to know that one Seattle firm has sold ‘tens of thousands’ of these chips to its customers.
We have become a society willing to abandon our privacy and personal rights for the sake of convenience and security. Someone has said that such a society will lose its freedom and security. Its a warning that should be heeded.
What if there is a time when you are REQUIRED to accept a micro chip? Imagine, for a moment, the power that could give a tyrannical government over its people. If that seems far fetched, you may have forgotten that there was a time when Americans were not required to pay Social Security, possess a drivers license or register a firearm.
Revelation 13:16-17 foretells the time when people will be REQUIRED to receive the ‘mark of the beast’ in order to do business.
” And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
Whether or not you believe the Biblical account of the future, this part of the future may be upon us. These are, indeed, the ‘last days’ spoken of in the Scriptures. This would be a good time to listen to what God has to say about the future… both yours and mine.
The ‘chip’ is here. How you deal with it will have much to do with your personal future. Another reality is that you and I will die. That is unavoidable. Again, Scripture (Hebrews 9:27) tells us about that event, and what follows:
“it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”
