“It’s an invasion.”

That is what one official had to say about their problem with illegal immigration.  Literally thousands of illegals were pouring across their borders every day.

Then they took action.

That was in 2015.  After that, things changed.  Dramatically.  Illegal border crossings went from over 6,000 per day to nearly zero.  “They don’t even try”, said one border guard.

How did that happen?  They built a border fence.  It’s a 14 foot tall, double fence with lots of razor wire, and the ability to deliver an electric shock.  Additionally, there are heat sensors, cameras and loudspeakers warning potential illegals that they are about to break Hungarian law.  This stretch of fence is about one hundred miles long.

When an illegal is caught, they are dropped on “their” side of the fence, with no opportunity for asylum.  Anyone wishing to apply for asylum must go to a designated location and follow the procedures.  One government spokesman had this to say, “You might not like it, it’s not a nice thing, but … the only way to stop illegal border crossings is [to] first build a fence, man it, equip it, and also, in parallel, build up your capabilities in terms of legal confines, legal circumstances to be able to handle what is coming.”

America needs border security… a wall, a fence, a barrier…  Stop the political posturing.

Build the wall!
