Is border security a national emergency?

Every year, thousands of deaths result from drug overdose.  Leftists insist that most illegal drugs are coming through our ports of entry, and not being transported across the inadequately protected portions of our southern border.  No need to build a barrier.

I have wondered, HOW DO THESE LEFTISTS KNOW where these drugs are coming across the border?  It isn’t the illegal drugs that are DISCOVERED that are killing our friends, neighbors and children.  It is the UNDISCOVERED drugs.  If they are undiscovered, how could these Leftists possibly claim to know where they are crossing into our country?  The answer is, of course, they can’t know.  It is one of the many fabrications they use to argue against “the wall” (border security).

A reasonable conclusion would be that these drugs are coming across our border wherever it is easiest for smugglers to transport them.  Ports of entry probably wouldn’t be the most likely crossing point.  There are, no doubt, large quantities of illegal drugs being brought to America through every conceivable location, including ports of entry.  Drug dealers will take advantage of any weakness they can find.

So will sex traffickers.  So will gang members.  So will terrorists.

The southern border can not be secure without a wall/barrier being part of the process.

Build the wall.
