Political prognosticators predicted disaster.

When President Trump announced the withdrawal of troops from the Syrian border, all of the “experts” wailed and moaned.  ISIS would surely re surge and terrorists would establish a new and powerful sanctuary.

Hardly.

I’ll admit, I was skeptical and a bit nervous about the decision.  Rather than join the throng of people assailing the President, I chose to give him the benefit of of the doubt.  I assumed (hoped) he had better information than the media and other anti-Tumpers.

Donald Trump had a plan.  No surprise there.  Now, looking back just a few days, it is more clear that his plan… MUCH different than any of his predecessors… appears to actually be working.  That’s an accomplishment that no other President has been able to achieve.  His plan flies in the face of conventional political wisdom.  Instead of sacrificing the lives of American soldiers, the President has used our financial muscle along with an eye for the deal to meet an objective.

I don’t make many wagers on political matters.  I’ll keep my money, thank you.  I do, however, have a financial bet with an anti-Trumper.  My $50.00 says he will win in 2020.

His track record of success and winning speaks for itself.

My money is on Trump.
