Out of Touch With South Dakota, and Reality

Sen. John Thune is “open to censure” of President Trump.

He has not suggested censure of ANY of his Leftist colleagues, whose actions and rhetoric has been far worse than anything from President Trump. It might be reasonable to ask why.

When South Dakota sent John Thune to the US Senate, we believed he would represent traditional South Dakota values. Many of us have been disappointed, particularly of late.

Something has changed in the John Tune we thought we knew. None of us would have dreamed when we sent him that we would be hearing serious talk of challenging him in a primary and replacing him as our Senator.

It seems he has gone the way of Rep. Liz Cheney.

I agree about Thune, but I would absolutely add in Rounds and Johnson to the list of disappointments. I would like to get involved in the SD Republican party at a precinct level in order to have some input choosing candidates at some point, but I’m finding the Pennington Cty website bewildering. I’m not on FB or Twitter. Any tips? Please feel free to drop me a note privately if that works best for you.

I would encourage you to call the Penn. Co, Republican office. The county chair, Jeff, will be more than helpful to you.
