Rep. Jerry Nadler summed up Leftist sentiments when he said, essentially, “God’s will is no concern of this Congress.
Nadler’s complete statement was, “What any religious tradition ascribes as God’s will is no concern of this Congress.” It came after Rep. Greg Steube included references to Scripture in his opposition to the “Equality Act” (which actually promotes IN-equality, and flies in the face of traditional Judeo-Christian values).
This legislation would advance the Leftist agenda of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community and “sexual orientation and gender identity”. In case you have been sleeping, “sexual orientation and gender identity” are terms describing the situation where men “identify” as women and vise versa and then insist on being treated as the sex with which they “identify”. Among other things, it would allow biological males to compete with biological females in sports activities. Picture Mike Tyson competing in women’s boxing, for instance. (For the record, Tyson does not identify as female. I use him only for the purpose of demonstrating how ridiculous this Legislation is.)
To be clear: LGBTQ people are entitled to equal treatment. They are not “lesser humans”. While they are free to make their own life choices, those choices should not entitle them to SPECIAL treatment. Choices have consequences.
Laws passed by Congress either align with and support the laws of God, or they are in opposition to the laws of God. These laws, therefore either promote good or evil. At this moment in history, Mr. Nadler’s statement reflects the Leftist rejection of and contempt toward God.
This Congress, in the hands of Leftists, is paving a road to Hell for America.
