The prophet Mohammed is the founder of Islam.

 He never traveled to South Dakota or North Dakota.

His Muslim followers have other plans.  The recent “Kill list” issued by ISIS includes people from the Dakotas.  We don’t have to worry about Muslim violence in South Dakota, you say.  Islam is a peaceful religion, you say.  If we would just leave them alone they would leave us alone, you say.  Calling Muslims to publicly reject the portions of the Koran that commands followers to kill non-Muslims is bigoted and closed-minded, you say.

You further suggest we should not be concerned about the growing Muslim prayer vigil in the Sioux Falls airport.  It doesn’t concern you that the Muslims Community Center in Sioux Falls is expanding, and looking for larger quarters.  You think it is just fine that there are multiple mosques in Sioux Falls, another in Brookings, and Islamic schools in the Dakotas.  Sharia Law won’t come to South Dakota, you say.

Today is a day to stand up and be counted.  Muslims in South Dakota should join non-Muslims in condemning this “Kill list”.  If, indeed, we have nothing to fear from our Muslim brothers and sisters, they should come forward and stand with those of us who reject the violence and disregard for human rights by ISIS.

If you are not for us, you are against us.
