Republican Senators Mike Rounds and John Thune went over to the dark side, just in time for Halloween. Voting with Democrats, they literally gave the Obama administration everything they wanted.

No limit on the debt ceiling.

South Dakota Common Sense?? In South Dakota, conservativs still call increased government spending and no limit on debt something else.

Insanity.

Thanks for posting this, Gordon.

The traitors in the McConnell-Thune camp arranged the Senate schedule around Wednesday’s presidential debate to virtually guarantee the failure of Rand Paul’s filibuster, but to his credit he went ahead with it anyway.

I noticed Rounds was presiding over the chamber during Ted Cruz’s floor speech last night, and I suspect it at least tweaked his conscience if he has one.
