Sadly, many things have changed for Robin.

He no longer steals from the rich and gives to the poor.

Robin has now become a politician.  He has a new creed.  His new allegiance is to the Sheriff of Nottingham.  Taxing the poor has become the noble thing for him to do.

The Sheriff (Governor Daugaard) is about to raise South Dakota taxes (again).  Many conservatives have been steadfast in resisting the newest tax increase.

The Sheriff, however, has cleverly disguised this tax increase as a necessary evil to fund an increase in teacher pay.  He says it’s just a harmless little sales tax increase… just over $100 Million dollars per year.  Unfortunately, it looks like he has bedazzled enough Republicans to get it done.

How sad for Robin.  How sad for South Dakota.

It’s really just another way to rob from the poor.
