The Republican held Senate and House, and President Donald Trump have an important decision to make.

Will they RAISE the debt ceiling… again?  The national debt is fast approaching the $ 20 TRILLION dollar mark.  Unfunded liabilities are already topping $ 105 TRILLION dollars.

One might ask, “How much is enough”.

There wasn’t any discussion of this topic during the presidential campaign.  No one is talking about it now, either.  When it (rarely) comes up, most politicians don’t seen all that concerned about it.  One argument is that the “debt level is not that important”, suggesting that other fiscal barometers are what we should really be watching.  With the March deadline fast approaching, you can expect to hear all of these justifications and rationalizations for RAISING the debt ceiling to surface once again.

After all the dust settles, the proverbial can will be kicked down the road once more.  Republicans don’t have a plan that puts a limit on Federal debt… yet.

Will they EVER??
