Some people insist on polluting the internet. Isn’t it time to clean up the trash??
The managers of many blogs simply allow any kind of comment, and then boast about the “participation” on their site. The Life and Liberty Media sites have a different policy. Our sites do not publish all “comments”. We publish only a handful. Some are simply not relevant. Some are not fit for our viewers.
Ed Randazzo has done a great job as the Chief News Editor. He is keeping our streets “swept clean”. Thanks for a job well done, Ed.
Now, a few words to our blogging friends:
This morning I took a quick tour of the South Dakota blogosphere. I didn’t stay long. It stunk.
There is just too much “trash” on the streets. Until hearts are changed or blog site managers “clean it up”, there will continue to be piles and piles of garbage for everyone to smell. It is one thing to have lively discussion about issues. It’s quite another to engage in pre-teen style name calling and personal attacks. Some people enjoy the smell. I am not one of them.
We will continue to do our best to keep our side of the street clean.

Street sweeping in the internet is a full-time job. And sometimes it seems the blogosphere is the “red light district.” Thank God for a “mission” in the red light district like yours!
What stunk? What articles in the blogosphere did you find offensive? Again, you’re just making statements that sound good in the shower but don’t convey any solid information. Flesh out your argument.
