Hot Dogs, Apple Pie and… Health Care
Independence Day is a wonderful day of celebration. This year we should celebrate by renewing our commitment to preserving the freedom we celebrate.
While many Americans enjoy a backyard barbecue, our country is on fire… literally. We are TRILLIONS of dollars in debt, we have a Congress and President unable to curtail runaway spending, the Supreme Court just affirmed socialized health care, unborn children are being killed in their mothers wombs, drug and alcohol abuse is destroying lives and families, and we are not controlling our own borders.
Should we be discouraged?
Absolutely NOT!!
America’s BEST days are still ahead of us… IF God-fearing Country loving Americans will get off the couch to defend our freedom. The best place to start is to ask God for direction and blessing. Then, register to vote… and VOTE for freedom-minded candidates, support their campaigns with your time and money.
And while you are at it read the Constitution. Read it aloud to your children.
