The South Dakota GOP might want to take another look at what our Republican Governor and Republican Leadership is doing before blasting the Democrats.

Democratic Candidate Matt Varilek Proudly Backs This Disastrous Policy
…the South Dakota Republican Party today released the following statement criticizing Democratic congressional candidate Matt Varilek for supporting the president’s government takeover of healthcare.
“The news that ObamaCare will cause people to lose their health insurance proves that the President’s government takeover of healthcare was a mistake of monumental proportions,” said Tony Post, executive director of the SDGOP. “When will Matt Varilek learn that when it comes to his healthcare plan, a government takeover of healthcare is not what the doctor ordered?”
Varilek: I Would Have Voted For ObamaCare. “That’s why I’m not afraid to say that I would have joined my former boss, Senator Tim Johnson, in voting for health care reform. Will Tony Post please explain to me how the GOP can criticize Valilek for honestly and openly doing something Governor Daugaard and the Republican Leadership is doing under cover of deception?
This week, a Republican State Senator sat in my office and defended the Governor and Republican leaders for implementing ObamaCare in South Dakota. Still, in public, the Governor and Republican leadership insist they are “against ObamaCare”.
The Governor and leading Republicans know very clearly what they are doing. Nearly seven million dollars of ObamaCare money, Legislation to implement ObamaCare in South Dakota and a full time staff for the South Dakota Health care Exchange is NOT opposing ObamaCare. If Tony Post is going to slam Democrats for supporting ObamaCare, he might want to check with the Governor first. Perhaps he has. One thing is certain: he is either terribly uninformed on the Governors policy or he is a co-conspirator in the ObamaCare cover-up in South Dakota.
Maybe Varilek should run for Governor and bring some honesty back to the State Capitol.
