That’s a quote attributed to Benjamin Rush, Abraham Lincoln and others.

Regardless of who said it, the great leaders in America have been moral people. Those who have taken us the farthest in the wrong direction have been Godless, immoral people. If America has any hope to turn in the right direction once again, we must elect men and women who have strong Judeo-Christian foundations in their personal lives.

There are certainly many gods (little ‘g’), but only ONE true, living God. If you serve Muhammad, go ahead, but you don’t belong in American politics. Period. Sorry, Mr. President.

If you choose to live an immoral life, you are free to do so… but you don’t belong in any elected office. Barney Frank literally led millions of Americans down an economic path of destruction. He should have never been elected in the first place.

If you CLAIM to be a Christian and support abortion, or other candidates who do, you don’t deserve our vote and certainly are not qualified to be a political leader. Governors Daugaard and Rounds would be on this list… Daugaard for supporting and endorsing abortion candidates and Rounds for vetoing the first South Dakota abortion ban…. and BOTH of them for supporting ObamaCare, which provides public funded abortions.

Until, and unless America gets it right with God, don’t expect financial recovery. As long as our leaders are not serving the God of the universe, they can only lead us further into darkness. God is not to be trifled with. He takes this morality stuff seriously; seriously enough that He sent His own son to the cross for our redemption. His word is very clear on the subject of morality in government. It’s time we focus on another quote… one directly from Heaven…

“When the righteous rule, the people rejoice. When the wicked rule, the people groan.”
