Congress Must Adjourn and Go Home NOW
There is no substantive business of the people being accomplished in Washington, nor will there be until next year. So, Congress should, and MUST adjourn NOW and go home to be with their families and constituents for the commemoration and celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. He is the only way and the truth and the life.
Just consider the lagniappe of this vacation for our country.
Boehner and his merry band of weak-kneed, hand-wringing invertebrate “Republicans” will not be in Washington to genuflect at the feet of the pariah president. Even if there will actually be a “negotiation” on the “Fiscal Cliff,” Boehner & Co. will fold like a cheap camera abdicating the Constitutional authority of Congress to a power-hungry, petulent child who-would-be-king bent on the destruction of everything that has made this country exceptional and great.
Since Boehner, Cantor, et. al. lack the intestinal fortitude to draft a budget and send it to the Senate, there is no hope of any good result to come from their continued presence in Washington.
Gift the American people, Speaker Boehner, by going home before you wind up ceding the Congressional Constitutional authority to borrow money.

Hilarious: you lose the election, you lose the argument on taxes, so you advocate quitting and shutting down the Congress that won’t do your bidding. There is work to be done, and you aren’t going to stop it with a faux call to piety.
Glad you got a chuckle out of it. The moderate Republicans lost the election for the people that actually have a backbone and will stand on the principles, values and beliefs of the Founders. I’m just trying to get the wimps out of town before they do further damage. No piety here, just damage control from the wimps. Your guy belongs in Beijing or Putinville, not here. But elections have consequences and soon you too will be feeling the collective pain, if Obama gives you the permission to feel pain.
