Republicans leaders have already agreed to $800 Billion dollars in tax increases.

And counting…..

The Republican offer to Obama included a tax increase of $800 Billion dollars.  NOW, they have made a “counter offer” (code word for compromise) which undoubtedly includes even MORE tax increases.

These masters of compromise have already sold American taxpayers down the river.  Republicans have allowed the narrative of NO TX INCREASES to be changed to HOW MUCH tax increase.  The Democrats are very proficient at getting Republicans to negotiate with themselves.  They have effectively used the same technique used by many of our foreign adversaries… Cheat,retreat… repeat.  Perhaps the one difference is that Democrats have not been retreating much lately.

Republicans, on the other hand, have been retreating from their principles and positions in an effort to appear “bi-Partisan”.

What these compromising Republican leaders don’t seem to understand is that the only hope we have of not going over the cliff is to hold fast to the principle of “Cut, Cap and Balance”.

At present, they seem to have only two remaining choices.  Either stand firm on principle and go over the cliff because Obama and the Democrats will NOT compromise, or go over the cliff because they have “negotiated” the Obama deal which will take us there anyway.
