A Hot air balloon festival is a colorful event to watch.
Multicolored balloons float into the air to drift lazily aloft into the thin cold morning air. Blast of propane flames interrupts the silence of the morning heating each balloon to increasing heights. Kind of reminds me of Congressional Democratic Party and those occupying the White House: lots of hot air.
In January it was fiscal cliff hanger. We heard the mantra, “Do it the Democrat way or else! Those wicked Republicans just want to enrich the rich, but we Democrats are for the little guy. Let’s tax the rich only – that Elephant in the room, if they don’t bend the knee to us, why for the very poor middle class – taxes will SOAR! Granny on limited income unfair taxes will SKYROCKET! DOOOOM!”
Hot Air. When the Donkeys speak, motioning with one hand, watch the other. Guess what you poor dejected Middle Class, and low income recipients, the enemy of that big fat cat elephant in the room spoke with heap’um gaseous hot air. While they decried foul, their left hand was already in your wallet. Your payroll social security has risen, less take home pay.
What about the rich that must fall off the cliff in order for America’s survival – they are taxed too and double and then again, the Affordable Care Tax kicks in upon those making the new million dollar limit, defined by the baying asses, as $250,000.00. These new rich are hit with 3.8 percent surtax on investment income as well as another payroll tax hike of 0.9 percent in the Hospital Insurance portion of the payroll tax for the incomes for the newly defined ‘as rich.’
Welcome to reality for those that actually voted for more hot air. Then again, what happened to the 2013 voting irregularities in Fairfax County, VA concerning voters voting multiple times? What of the 59 voting divisions in the city of Philadelphia where the combine voting total was 19,605 for Barack Obama and 0 for Mitt Romney?
Add to this the fact that the overall voter turnout rate Philadelphia was roughly 60 percent. Is there anyone still looking into why Republican poll watchers were illegally removed, and then the voter turnout rate was over 90% and Obama received over 99% of the vote? Why did the powers that be in Philadelphia rule out an investigation so early?
What about those who claimed to have witnessed voting machine software repeatedly switch votes from Mitt Romney to Barack Obama? Oh I could go on, but why when the Justice Department is run by such a fast and furious kind of guy – Oh I am sure he’ll look into these matters with deep deliberations…
Hot air – all hot air. Why is that big ol’Elephant cowering in the room?
