A few Legislators think unborn children don’t deserve to take their first breath.

House Concurrent Resolution 1002 urges the supreme court to overturn their decision on Roe v. Wade. Thankfully, most Legislators support life.

Here is the list of those who rejected this pro life position, and chose to support abortion.

Senators:

Adelstein, Bradford, Jones, Kirkeby, Lucas, Soholt, Tidemann, Tieszen, Vehle and Welke.

The South Dakota Republican Party platform strongly supports life. Senators Adelstein, Kirkeby, Soholt, Tidemann, Tieszen and Vehle are Republicans who voted against the pro-life position of their own party on this resolution.

Republicans should be expressing their outrage at this pro-abortion vote by these Republican Legislators rejecting this fundamental party position.
