America has abandoned the principles this nation was founded upon.

What, if anything will bring her back?

Father Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for Life, has said America won’t end abortion until it sees abortion.  He is on to something with that statement.  As long as people can avoid a confrontation with reality they can live in denial and delusion.

Some people don’t see Heaven until they have had a glimpse of Hell.

America won’t return to its founding principles and limited, responsible government until things get bad enough that it affects them personally.  That might mean that real renewal is on the way.

Most people who are watching what is happening (or perhaps NOT happening) in Washington DC seem to be in agreement.  Something has to give.  We can’t keep overspending at current levels without any consequence.  The Federal Reserve can’t continue to print money by the billions without causing serious long-term problems.  ObamaCare and other huge tax increases can’t simply be “blended” into a family’s budget.  These new taxes will create real-life problems for average taxpayers.  The economic math just doesn’t add up.

An economic train wreck is on the way.  When people SEE and feel the impact of the bad policies of the last decade, there may be enough outrage to effect a change of direction.  We can only hope it won’t be too late.
