You’ve probably heard about powerful spiritual awakenings in the 18th, 19th and even the 20th centuries.

But maybe you’re still saying to yourself, “That could never happen here, not now, not in my town or my church. Well, you may be surprised to learn that revival has rocked a town much like yours, not all that long ago and not all that far away.

In the spring of 1990 the town of Alliance in western Nebraska was a pretty dark place. Just 3 years earlier radio commentator Paul Harvey had reported that Alliance had the highest per capita illegal drug use in the country. But during a ten-week period starting in May of 1990 hundreds of people from Alliance and the entire region attended revival meetings that resulted in over 900 people committing their lives to Christ and many, many Christians and churches getting right with God and discovering a new boldness in sharing their faith.

One pastor involved in the meetings described a feeling of warm electricity that extended beyond the walls of the church building. He said the predominant feeling people reported was the love of God. A number of people felt loved unconditionally for the first time in their lives.

Do you want to experience the tangible presence of God’s love in your life, your church and your community? Then gather with a group of believers who share your passion and begin to pray: “Do it again, Lord. Do it again!”
