President John F. Kennedy made us proud to be Americans. He was not a perfect leader, nor a perfect man. Still, he called us to a higher purpose. He challenged us to be better.

He was a Democrat. Not a Democrat in the likeness of today’s Democrat. John F. Kennedy was a Democrat who placed America’s interest first.

America would do well to heed his words today.
