Retired USAF officer to talk about how media covers military issues on December 13

A retired USAF officer will share insights on military-media interplay.

      LTC Terri Jorgenson (USAF Reserve ret) of Piedmont will present on Saturday, December 13, at Western Dakota Technical Institute in Rapid City about the relationship between the military and the media, starting at 9 am and sponsored by the Black Hills Veterans Writing Group.

       Terri served as a Space and Missile Warning Officer and a Public Affairs Officer in the Air Force Space Command and United States Strategic Command.  She will focus on the challenges of working with the media in an era where few reporters have military experience.
