Now that National Doughnut is behind us…

We can all refocus on OTHER important life issues.

If you begin looking, you will see people every day who are struggling with life.  Your kind word, smile or helping hand could make a BIG difference.

It might amaze you to know that most people going through difficult times have a feeling of being alone with no one to help them.  Women who have been through a crisis pregnancy resulting in abortion, for instance, commonly say they would have chosen life if ONE… yes ONE person would have encouraged them.  They felt alone, without options.  Obviously, not all difficult life situations are as critical as that, but still create lots of lonely, hurting people.

Be on the lookout for them.  Take a moment to look into someone’s face.  You might be surprised what you see.  Invent ways to express love and concern for others.  You will be their hero and you’ll leave a significant and lasting impact.  What should you do, specifically?  If you can’t think of anything else….

Buy them a doughnut!
