Who is this mystery cow??

She will soon be at home on the Holy Cow Ranch.

Nearly 100 inches of horn grace the head of this spectacular Longhorn cow.  Her tip to tip measurement is 83″ (and growing).

The Holy Cow Ranch has been home to some wonderful Longhorns, but this will be one of the best yet!  We are not just a little excited about this new purchase.  We are not disclosing all the information just yet… want to know if anyone has a guess about which amazing cow we are talking about.

Longhorn cattle are a bit like race horses.  Everyone wants a faster horse.  Longhorn cattle breeders want bigger horn, flashy color, great conformation and good disposition.  When an animal combines those traits it makes people do a double take.  That’s what we are looking for.  It was like that when I first saw the world’s longest horned Longhorn bull, Wyoming Warpaint… love at first sight.  Warpaint is now deceased, but we were thrilled to have him on the Holy Cow Ranch for a season and own him jointly with JBR Longhorns.  His progeny continues to out-perform expectations (yes, we still have semen available for purchase).

Adding this “Mystery cow” to our herd was a no brainer.  As anxious as we are to share pictures and information, we are keeping our powder dry.  We will share it soon!!
