That has been a puzzle to many. This video may explain why there hasn’t been anyone in South Dakota (still living) who has stepped forward to expose the problems or the players.
Former Governor, now US Senator Mike Rounds refused to testify under oath about his leadership and involvement in the EB 5 program. The Huffington Post reported on possible “criminal wrongdoing in the sordid EB-5 saga that has left a former state cabinet official dead, 
a $115 million beef packing plant bankrupt just nine months after it opened, and a mysterious $30 million loan from Hong Kong that also provided a $1 million payoff to a Los Angeles firm that does not seem to exist.”
The brother of Mike Rounds was in charge of EB 5 litigation. How convenient.
EB 5 dollars were given to a company Rounds was personally invested in. Nice fringe benefit.
There is so much more, including money laundering allegations. Still, no one is talking.
Do you really believe that everything was above board with South Dakota’s EB 5 program, or could it be that no one is willing to put themselves at risk to step forward?

How in the world did this get so dirty so deep and why are they not in prison? Really are there that many in high office that can shut this down and cause this crime to go unpunished?
American security at risk, high government officials in SD and DC from SD and other states, organized crime??? Suicide?? I doubt it, a professional killer can make it look like suicide, they have been doing it for years.
Money and threats can buy off a multitude of people, it is human nature to not believe it could happen here.
Don’t forget President Bush made several trips to SD so Thune could get elected and the vice president came pheasant hunting every year. So much could be intertwined in this.
Well since the Federal investigation is “over” we should be able to get Benda’s autopsy….the only reason we could not get it was because of an on going “federal investigation”,
Don’t forget that it was JOHN THUNE that pushed Mike Rounds…birds of a feather flock together….
