Richard Viguerie’s Conservative HQ highlights some important truths about Jeb Bush…

… and what we can reliably know about what kind of president he would be.

The CHQ staff points out some important information directly concerning the statements and actions of Jeb Bush himself.

As our friends at conservativeamerica-online.com noted, back in 1994 Bush penned an opinion editorial in which he claimed that advancing “anti-discrimination protections” for homosexuals was tantamount to elevating sodomy. According to Buzzfeed, the Bush team “has since sought to distance him from that piece, with a spokeswoman telling BuzzFeed that it ‘does not reflect Gov. Bush’s views now.’

When recently asked if Bush supported a Constitutional amendment to define marriage as between one man and one woman, Bush spokesperson Kristy Campbell stated that Bush “does not believe amending the Constitution is the right course.”

The very next day, Bush made a rather weak attempt to walk the statement back: “I think we ought to focus, just as I said, on trying to forge consensus so we can move forward, and added what may be the most damning statement to conservative voters; “The courts have decided.”

He also said in language strangely reminiscent of Justice Kennedy’s outrageous Supreme Court opinion mandating same-sex marriage in all 50 states that we should all respect other “people’s commitments to long-term loving relationships.”

But we are also known by the company we keep. Tell me: how many honest people do you know who deliberately choose for themselves as their closest associates people who are dishonest and corrupt?  Think about it: how many people of morality and integrity deliberately choose for their closest friends and coworkers people who are of ill repute and morally bankrupt?

Do not birds of a feather tend to flock together?  When we have a choice, we tend to surround ourselves with people who think like we do and share common goals with us–especially when the “surrounding” involves a team effort to accomplish something.  If you were forming a group to accomplish a task,would you invite people into that group who were opposed to the task you wanted to achieve?

Of course not.

So we can learn a lot from the people who are working on the Jeb Bush presidential campaign.  And CHQ has some insight on that:

And as far as who Jeb Bush walks with, well as we explained in our articles “Jeb Bush’s Bizarre Group Therapy Campaign” and “Jeb Bush, John Boehner And The Anti-Reagan Republican Establishment” no Republican candidate for President has a staff less friendly to the traditional values agenda than does Jeb Bush.

One of Bush’s top campaign aides, David Kochel of Iowa, had this to say about standing for traditional social mores and cultural values, “Frankly,” Kochel said on an Iowa television program, “the culture wars are kind of over, and Republicans largely lost.”

This kind of thinking should not really surprise conservative observers, given, as McKay Coppins reported for BuzzFeed and our friend W. James Antle III dissected at some length in an article for The Week, “When Bush officially launches his presidential bid later this year, he will likely do so with a campaign manager who has urged the Republican Party to adopt a pro-gay agenda; a chief strategist who signed a Supreme Court amicus brief arguing for marriage equality in California; a longtime adviser who once encouraged her minister to stick to his guns in preaching equality for same-sex couples; and a communications director who is openly gay.”

It’s clear Jeb Bush, at best, cannot be trusted to fight aggressively for the traditional American values that we must return to if this nation is to recover from the liberal poison that’s been ailing it and survive. At worst, Jeb Bush is just another lip-service RINO who will take the easy path and sell out America and the American people in all the ways that count.

If the “Republican” establishment succeeds in ramming another sellout betrayer RINO down our throats again, they will achieve exactly the same thing they did when they pushed RINO Bob Dole on us, RINO John McCain on us, and RINO Mitt Romney on us: ensuring a Democrat victory…and a debilitating blow to America.

I will not be the corrupt “Republican” establishment’s b**** anymore. I will not carry water for them anymore. I will not be their obedient lapdog anymore. If Jeb Bush is the GOP nominee for 2016, I’ll be voting third party or leaving it blank. I will not be a party to fraud anymore. I’ve had enough of being sold out by charlatans and losers whose records make it clear that they’ll betray the principles that are most dear to me.
