Not in South Dakota!
Guess again!
The Federal Bureau of Immigration placed several adult male Somalians in Sioux Falls last week. They arrived by air and were escorted to meet their South Dakota contact. The contact for these immigrants was a local man with a non-profit organization.
Are these the kind of immigrants that built America and made it great? Maybe. Maybe not.
Minnesota has become home to tens of thousands of Somalian immigrants. Islamic terrorist groups have focused on that population with recruiting efforts. The welfare system in Minnesota has been stressed, and fears of terrorism have followed the influx of Somalian immigrants. South Dakota is part of the political program which “shares the pain” of this national immigration program.
One thing that has changed is the process of immigration. Immigrants come by illegally crossing Americans borders and by sweeping political actions that “place” immigrants without traditional vetting. These immigrants are not like many of our forefathers who came to America. America is changing.
Is it for the better, or worse?
