Daily routines continue…

Despite the evil in our world, life as usual seems to continue in America.  This would be a good time to review a warning from God, in Luke 17:

And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.  They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.  Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;  But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.  Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. v 26-28–30

If you have read your Bible, you know that the in the days of Noah, there was so much wickedness that God destroyed all of humanity (except Noah and his family) with the flood.  Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because of their sin as well.  Should we think that we are  somehow exempt from the judgment of God?

Christ is returning.  When he comes, “like a thief in the night”, those not ready will be busy with their schedules.  They will be caught up in their routines.  Wickedness will abound.  Does that sound like our world today?

Are you ready?

Steps to salvation:

A.  Admit you are a sinner

B.  Believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died so your ins could be forgiven

C.  Confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior
