Despite broad voter disapproval of the Ryan Omnibus Spending Bill…

Rounds and Noem are in lock-step with the Obama agenda and increased spending.

Apologies to Senator John Thune, who we previously and erroneously reported had voted in favor of the bill as well. Senator Thune DID NOT support the bill. Thank you Senator Thune!

Among other things, the bill continues the funding of Planned Parenthood.

For fear of being “blamed” for a potential government shutdown, sufficient numbers of Republicans caved in to support this very , very bad bill.

It is also worth noting that Senator John Thune joined Senators Cruz, Lee, Paul and Sessions, who all voted AGAINST the bill. Rubio was too busy campaigning to show up for this important vote.

Noem votes for Omnibus Spending Bill

There were over 100 House members who voted AGAINST the bill. Unfortunately, Noem was not among them.

Just another day in Washington D.C.

If any one of these two representatives care to explain their votes we will happily publish them without edit. Since they have never accepted that invitation before, we really don’t expect a response on this vote either.

Didn’t Thune for cloture on the same bill? That is the same as voting for it.
I bet the back room chatter was, “Rounds, you vote FOR it because by the time you are up for re-election no one will remember….Thune you and the rest of the RINOs that are up for re-election, vote against it…we have the votes to pass it anyway.”
