Closing Gitmo isn’t good for American security.

That doesn’t matter to President Obama.

He will announce today, his plans to relocate the remaining (and arguably the worst) to multiple locations within the United States.  Congress, even though both the House and the Senate are completely controlled by Republicans, has proven themselves completely inept at stopping him.

They have not been able to stop the President’s actions to release and send terrorists back to the battlefield.

Republicans might rattle their sabers after the President decrees he will close Gitmo, but it remains to be seen whether or not they will actually do anything to stop him.

I am not optimistic.
