How can something that doesn’t belong to someone be stolen?
Donald Trump has not won the Republican nomination. Let’s get that straight.
He could. He might. But he HASN’T.
The assertion that somehow Cruz on a winning streak equates to stealing the nomination from Trump is really a stretch. The return to name-calling and nastiness by Trump (I’m not sure he really ever left it) is the wrong message to send to voters. He further alienates people with his low road style of campaigning. A much smarter campaign strategy would be to focus on policy specifics on issues that concern American voters. The best we are likely to see from Trump is a mixture of name-calling and bumper sticker slogans.
While Trump has not yet won the nomination, he could certainly still lose it.
