Abortion providers like to call it “the procedure”.
If you were an unborn child and you could speak, you would call it murder.
Abortion.
South Dakota politicians boast to pro-life constituents that no public funding is given to Planned Parenthood in their state. What they don’t talk about is that the statewide public television is an advocate for abortion.
South Dakota tax dollars… lots of them… help fund Public Television in the State.
“Independent Lens” was aired this week, courtesy of South Dakota taxpayers. It was an hour and a half program, professionally produced and presented as part of the programming of Public Television. “Independent Lens”, to be fair, produces other documentaries. Another one tells the story of a life-long love affair of a gay couple. I haven’t watched that program. Don’t kid yourself. Public Television is about much more than Big Bird. This program was artfully produced to make abortion providers appear to be “victims”. It includes an abortionist who claims to be a “Christian”. The entire program was carefully designed to make abortion providers look like the good guys and pro-life advocates look like the heartless, hateful bad guys.
Every year the South Dakota State Legislature approves hundreds of thousands of dollars to fund Public Television. I am asking Legislators of conscience to refuse to continue this practice. Pro Life Legislators in the House and Senate should not vote for any bill that provides any funding for the abortion propaganda machine, Public Television.
You might have thought that no South Dakota tax dollars were being used to fund abortion. You would have been mistaken. Public Television just did a 90 minute pro abortion commercial, and your tax dollars helped make it possible.
Pro-Life Legislators, END ALL FUNDING for South Dakota Public Television.
