Where can you go when life doesn’t make sense?

Some things transcend understanding.  The sudden death of a loved one, financial reversals and betrayals are among the things that make us question life.  It’s not uncommon to question God.  Why?

There are times when answers just don’t come.

If we understood everything, there would be no need for faith or trust.  God designed life that way.  We can’t “understand” our way to God.  We TRUST our way to Him.  Abraham trusted God.  He was called the FRIEND of God.  That’s not a bad way to travel through life.

Job knew well that he could depend on God, even when his life didn’t make any sense at all.  “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him”.  That’s a powerful attitude.  It will see you successfully through any trial you may encounter.

I have been committed to serving God for most of my adult life.  There are many things I do not understand.  There are, however, some things I know positively.  This I know for certain.  I can safely trust Him regardless of what life dishes out to me.

He is trustworthy!
