Lots of Americans are unhappy with the choices for President.
Count me as one of them.
I have seen, up close and personal, the depravity of politics. For several election cycles, we have been given choices we don’t like. That said, what should we do?
Senator Ted Cruz gave America some pretty good advice, even though it wasn’t very well received. “Vote your conscience.”
What he didn’t say, but would probably agree with, is that first we should pray. It should be our course of first resort, but more oft the course of last resort. In any case, it is the BEST resort. For me, it now appears to be the only resort.
It really is time to find political agreement. Good men and women are deeply divided over how to respond to the choices for President. We know that a house divided can not stand. America needs help from Heaven.
Maybe you will join me in putting aside personal opinion and political judgment. Let’s go to God and ask for direction (not saying you haven’t been). I am going to be watching and praying. I’ll be asking for and looking for direction from God about what to do with my vote.
Above all, I want to be in agreement with Him.
