Wallace seemed near-desperate to snare Mike Pence this morning.
I don’t object hard hitting journalism or tough questions. There was something about the “tone” and the nature of questioning by Wallace, however, that made me question his motive. It appeared obvious that his objective was to trash Trump and embarrass Pence. Wallace was certainly adversarial.
He then followed with an interview of a Clinton spokesman that took a completely different tone. Wallace delivered softball questions with a much more “friendly” tone. Some of his questions were confrontational, but the adversarial tone was noticeably lower.
It is a sad reflection on the media of today, when rising to the top is a result of how effectively a “journalist” destroys and trashes those who do not fit the media’s left-leaning agenda.
It would be interesting to see how some of these “journalists” would stand up under similar scrutiny of their ethics and character.
