   Is this really an opinion, or just another load of fundametalist partisan nonsense? I believe the majority of our country would go with the latter.

     I’m quite sure it is Niall Ferguson’s opinion. I don’t know if Niall Ferguson is a “fundametalist” (sic). Oh, he must be ’cause anyone who would dare have an opinion differing from yours must be.

       All I’m saying is it appears to be the predictable rhetoric of a partisan fundamentalist. Perhaps “nonsense” is too strong a word for this situation.
