The Democrats just suffered a significant defeat.

Don’t count them out just yet.

Democrat Vice Presidential nominee Tim Kaine expressed the marching orders for leftisits, “Advance where we can and defend what we must”.

Granted, they may have an uphill battle, but they won’t just go away quietly.  Expect them to provide resistance to a conservative Republican agenda.  Expect them too, to have the media in their pocket.  One thing to their credit is they won’t give up.  They will challenge with law suits, press conferences (complete with extensive media coverage), protest marches, rallies and lots of other noise.  Opportunities to obstruct will not go unattended.

The agenda for economic growth, less government, lower taxes  and traditional values will require unity of purpose if it is to succeed.  The left will find allies from unexpected places.

Let’s not forget that some of their allies currently call themselves Republicans.
